MONUMENTAL GARDEN
LONDON
The surviving ruins are also part of the overall monumental space, which constructs a link between the monumental space and the past.
Cities also often need to rely on surviving ruins to maintain their identity, the whole design scheme relies on collecting and presenting the fragmented memories of the city by the individuals of the city to try to awaken the connection between other individuals and the collective memory. And to build a dialogue between past, present and future across time and space.
The degraded memory module fragments can be sorted and recycled into different kinds of waste material fragments.

YINGYUE BRIDGE,
FOSHAN
The whole concept of the slow moving system is based on the ridge and aims to give pedestrians a unique perspective of walking on a ridge in the middle of the city.
As the city evolves, flat traffic patterns cannot accommodate the movement and interaction between different blocks.
The three-dimensional interface of the slow-moving system facilitates pedestrian walking and cycling while maintaining the existing traffic patterns.
Pedestrians and vehicles have the same right of way and do not interfere with each other.
Not only does it create a quick and easy access between blocks, but it also provides another dimensional view of the city as a whole.

BILAN SCHOOL,
SHENZHEN
The design of this middle school aims to create a relatively open campus at the intersection of the main roads. Traditionally the campus space is enclosed and the whole building is hidden inwards.
However, modern teaching spaces should not maintain this oppressive and closed space and ambience. The use of the façade and the polycarbonate material ensures the privacy of the campus while making it more permeable.
The sunken playground has been designed to ensure a basic function while dividing the traffic flow and incorporating the function of a wrap-around canteen due to the constraints of the interview. The pedestrian bridge between the buildings also facilitates communication and access between classrooms.

HEAVEN
EXHIBITON HALL,
BAODING
This project is a critique of the fact that modern urban development should not be based on the erasure of traditional architecture and local culture. The local government's plan for the future of the site needs to integrate the historical elements of the site. By using the remaining spaces of the site to link the past with the present.
This allows for the continuation of the cultural heritage while adapting to the functional needs of a new era.
The whole concept of the project is based on the development of a suspended paradise. The aim is to create a link with the ancient and traditional ritual function of the ruins.
The pavilion is held up by four arched structures without destroying the current state of the site, thus realising the concept of floating. The openings in the roof allow light to fall naturally on the areas of the site where the ritual buildings were originally built and are combined with 3D projections to achieve a sense of place for the rituals.

CUBIC PITAL,
BEIJING
This hospital project is a critique of the uneven distribution of healthcare resources in our society today and a rethinking of the modularity of mobile healthcare.
In most countries around the world, quality healthcare resources are concentrated in developed cities, but many healthcare sectors are left idle on a daily basis.
The question of how to expand the reach of quality healthcare resources and thus promote equality in the distribution of healthcare has become an urgent issue. The modular design of medical departments and wards can facilitate the flow of patients and doctors.
This is achieved by means of transport units that can be used to spread medical coverage throughout the country.

R&D,
KONGBAI
This hollow village revitalisation project is a reflection on the ageing crisis facing the countryside in today's urbanised world.
As urbanisation attracts a younger population to the village. The traditional culture and skills of the local villages are in danger of being lost. Therefore, the key to this project is how to re-establish the internal and external attractiveness of the traditional villages.
Therefore, the establishment of a design research centre and the creation of a communication between the village and the outside world is a way of spreading traditional culture and skills to the outside world.
It will also attract young people to return to the village and its heritage. This will create a better cycle.

BOAT LIFE,
TONGYEUNG
This is a rethinking of the way young people will live in the future in the context of the very small living space per capita in Korea.
The problems of urbanisation include the plight of young people trapped in enclosed huts. The need for young people to move is also limited by the fact that they have fixed homes.
The mobile, modular houseboat can therefore give young people of the future more imagination about their lives. It is an idealised vision of what it means to take a home away from home.
People can take their boats out on the sea on weekends. Or even drive to other cities and countries for a holiday.
